This module is a 16HP clone of the Mutable Instruments Grids module using Through-hole components and an Arduino Nano board. This version was designed by Kristian Blåsol as a faithful recreation of the original, maintaining identical functionality and behavior. This module is deeper (28mm) than the now discontinued factory-built Grids. Panel is unique (i made it).Grids is a three-channel algorithmic trigger generator that produces evolving drum patterns derived from compressed rhythm maps. Each output channel corresponds typically to Kick (CH1), Snare (CH2), and Hi-Hat or Percussion (CH3) | though endless variations and reinterpretations are possible.Main featuresClock input and reset trigger inputInternal clock (40–240 BPM, pauses below 40 BPM)Tap tempo / beat indicator button (can be configured as reset indicator)Latitude / Longitude knobs with CV inputs (0–5V) controlling rhythmic distributionRandomness control with CV input (0–5V) for pattern variationPattern density controls for each of the 3 channels with CV inputs (0–5V)3 trigger and accent outputs (5V)Selectable clock resolution (24ppqn / 8ppqn / 4ppqn)Optional layout with Clock / Reset outputs instead of Accent 2 & 3Trigger or Gate output modeHidden 3-channel Euclidean sequencer mode| 16HP | 28mm deep |Module is in perfect condition. Comes complete with screws and connection cables. Used only in a non-smoking studio.
