It provides two independent random voltage outputs—one smooth and one quantized (stepped)—each with an attenuator, and a gate output that provides either a clock signal or random gates depending on the mode. The Rate knob controls the speed of the internal clock, the speed of the random voltage generation, or the probability of random gates in external mode. Key Features & FunctionsRandom Voltage Generation:Smooth Output: A smoothly changing random voltage, similar to a triangle LFO but with random peaks and troughs. Quantized Output: A stepped, sample-and-hold style random voltage, creating a stepped random pattern. Random Gate Generation:When in internal clock mode, the gate output provides a steady 50% duty cycle clock signal. When in external clock mode, the gate output provides random gates with a 50% chance of being high or low at any given moment. Internal/External Clock:A switch and a clock input allow the user to choose between an internal or external clock source. Rate Control:The Rate knob adjusts the speed of the internal clock or the rate of change for the smooth output. In external mode, it controls the probability of the random gate.
