DIY build of this excellent 8HP DSP effects module. Switchable between Reverb, Delay, and Chorus. Sync in and tap tempo for the delay and stereo outs for the chorus and reverb (delay is in mono).Wonderful compact effects module that I'm only selling because I've added many more delays and reverbs in my case since building this one.I put in a blue LED for the tempo indicator because I was sick of red blinky shit. I think it looks wicked awesome. So do you. It has a surface mount capacitor soldered between two pins on the DSP board to mitigate a known noise issue. Comes with a power cable and free US shipping because I remember your sister was really cool back in the day. From Frequency Central:Stasis Leak is a 6HP 48kHz DSP effects module, providing a choice of stereo chorus, stereo plate reverb and tap tempo delay. Stasis Leak is based around a Belton ABE-FX sub board, which in turn is based around a Coolaudio V1000 chip.Time controlThis knob controls a different function for each of the three effects (see chart at bottom). It is also associated with its own CV input, and when a jack is inserted into the CV input, the knob serves to attenuate incoming control voltages. This CV input responds to 0V to 5V signals.Density controlThis knob controls a different function for each of the three effects (see chart at bottom). It is also associated with its own CV input, and when a jack is inserted into the CV input, the knob serves to attenuate incoming control voltages. This CV input responds to 0V to 5V signals.Tone controlThis knob works on each of the three different effects as a simple lowpass filter, cutting the highs in the effected signal, and helping to provide definition between the dry and wet signal.Wet controlThis knob controls the amount of effected signal that is mixed with the dry signal. Dry is always 100%. On the rear of the module there is a Dry Lift jumper, this can come in useful when Stasis Leak is used in a send/return effects loop.Tap/Sync InThese functions only apply to the delay effect, where they may be used to set the delay time, either manually, or via an incoming clock.Left Out/Right OutThese two outputs may be used in conjuction for full stereo outputs of the chorus and reverb effects. The delay effect is mono, and either of the outputs may be used. For best results when using the chorus in a mono signal path, the left and right signals, which are 90o out of phase with each other, should be combined using a small mixer such and Process 26 or Volts Platz.*Delay time (50 – 1000 ms). – Tap more than once within 1 second to set, LED blinks at quarter-note tempo, and the time knob is divided into 4 tempo subdivision:0-25%: 8th-note triplet25-50%: 8th-note50-75%: dotted 8th-note75-100%: quarter-note
