This is a DIY eurorack conversion of a Chinese karaoke "reverb" unit, which is in fact a PT2399 based bucket brigade analog delay. The panel is a black 4 HP PCB panel from Pusherman Productions.Functionally and aesthetically perfect; everything works as it should. However, please note that this is a unit that has been heavily modified, and as such there is obviously going to be evidence of desoldering, as well as additional wiring, bodges, etc. on the board (see photos). The knob labeled "FX" controls feedback, "Time" controls delay time, "Gain" controls input level, and "AUX" works as both an attenuator for incoming CV, as well as an additional offset for the delay time when unpatched. The "MOD" input is for CV control over delay times. This is a lo-fi effect, and can easily be driven into crunchy distortion by overdriving the unit with the gain input. Sounds great in washed out drone and shoegazey patches, or when used to process vocals. For those who are not solder savvy, you now have the chance to buy one of these rare eurorack conversions and try it out for yourself!
