An extremely well thought-of design – made even more popular in a previous incarnation as the Livewire Frequensteiner – it features high-pass, low-pass and an exceptionally crisp bandpass mode.The input level is adjustable. The cutoff potentiometer means business. For modulations, there are two CV inputs with attenuators. High resonance values result in wet to sharp and aggressive sound. – A very versatile filter!The audio input of the Steiner Synthasystem VCF is followed by a level control. Via a switch, users can choose the module’s high-pass, band-pass or low-pass mode. Two large, very handy potentiometers allow users to comfortably adjust cutoff and resonance. For cutoff modulations, two CV inputs plus attenuators were implemented. Thanks to two outputs, filtered audio material can be sent to several other circuits in parallel.This design is officially licensed from the original designer, Nyle Steiner.
