Athrú by Instruō is a compact wavefolder for the Eurorack modular format. wavefolders have played a huge role in the Instruō sound as far back as Tòna, their now-discontinued wavefolding oscillator. Athrú, released in 2019, is the result of years of cumulative development on this vital building block and features an incredible-sounding Instruō wavefolder in a standalone package for the first time. basic controls include a fold amount slider with CV input and attenuverter as well as a switchable bias control and CV input for adding asymmetry to the fold. additional features include a switchable overdrive circuit and a strike input for "pinging" the wavefolder, opening it widely followed by a natural decay. the decay time can be tuned with the knob on the PCB, adding an extra layer of customization to the sound. when tuned carefully the wavefolder can close fully, opening when struck and decaying back to silence, much like an LPG.this Athrú is in mint condition with no rash. all controls and jacks have been fully tested and work as expected. includes ribbon cable and insured shipping. sold as-described with any returns at buyer's expense and subject to our standard restocking fee.4hp // ~40mm deep // 30mA +/-12V
