General knowledge: you can never have enough VCAs, be it for voltage controlled regulation of audio signal levels or the modualtion intensigy of a CV signal. The Veils module has not less than four VCAs aboard which offer a mix function and for each channel individual control of the characteristic, from linear to exponential.All four channels are identically constructed, each like a standard VCA with signal input, signal output and CV input. The special feature of the veils is that the characteristic of each VCA is continuously variable from exponential to linear with a small control. The inputs are DC-coupled and accept CV-signals or audio.The outputs of the channels are cascaded from left to right and are mixed, which means that Veils can also be a voltage controlled mixer for up to four signals.Besides the new design, the Model of 2020 has also got an offset control.
