You can think of it like an auxiliary send on a mixer, but instead of twisting a knob, you've got a fast on/off or latching behavior with the button. For instance, if you wanted to send a short audio burst to a reverb effect, run it through the autodub and send it with the push of a button while still preserving your dry signal. Fun!
