The item is in my posession for 2 years.It was barely used, mostly sit mounted into a rack, excellent condition.Manufacturer description:The Viol Ruina from Noise Engineering is an analog distortion and 4-pole lowpass filter. It offers a massive amount of drive. Additionnally it features an internal envelope follower routed to the cutoff frequency which allows to create dynamic patches very easily. Furthermore the Mod switch feeds the audio back to the filter for input-dependent FM. Mangle and filter your sound with Viola Ruina for a dark but vibrant character.Noise Engineering Viol Ruina is a combination of analog distortion and a lowpass filter with a slope of -24dB. The audio output from the filter is normaled to the Mangle input.Thanks to dedicated patch points it is possible to use the filter or the drive section independently.The Laser switch engages the internal envelope follower at different amounts, routed to the cutoff frequency. Down position is off, middle is mild, high is extreme.The Q pot adjusts the resonance of the filter.The Mod switch feeds the audio back to the filter cutoff frequency for input-dependent FM. It also offers three position: Down position is off, middle is mild, high is extreme.The intensity of distortion is adjusted using the Mangle knob.
