Description

Smoke-free studio. USPS Priority Mail shipping from Los Angeles with bubblewrap and packing peanuts. Tested and works perfectly. 4hp wide, 35mm deep, 60 mA +12V.More detail:The 4ms Shuffling Clock Multiplier (SCM) is a versatile module for modular synthesizers that takes a basic clock pulse and multiplies it to create complex, shuffled rhythms. It offers up to 8 outputs that can introduce subtle or pronounced variations in timing, adding a unique and dynamic feel to your sequences. Perfect for anyone looking to add an element of unpredictability and groove to their modular system.Think of the core pieces of a four-on-the-floor drum rhythm, like in house, techno, and many related genres. You can have the kick on the x1 output, a clap on the x2, a hat or shaker on the x8, and all those will just land on time, i.e., on the grid. You have 5 remaining outputs with various levels of "slip," which other DAWs and drum machines typically refer to as either "shuffle" or "swing," which represents deviation from the simple grid, so you can add an organic element of groove to whatever rhythm you're constructing. A CV input controls slip, so you can adjust it, either with an LFO or some other modulation, or by patching in some touch-based control like the Intellijel Planar.I bought this for my modular drum machine era, so to speak, but it's also great for techno stabs, or indeed for triggering envelopes rhythmically on a single sound source.
