Drum Rudiment Clock Splitter
The paradiddle is one of the standard drum rudiments, a set of practice moves learned by acoustic drummers.
The paradiddle is an 8 step sequence played with the hands in the following pattern:
L R L L R L R R
The first and 5th strokes are accented.
This diagram shows the trigger and CV outputs per clock step

This module takes a clock and splits it into a left and right trigger/CV sets that can be used to trigger two variants of the same voice, typically percussion, or trigger two different voices entirely.
The paradiddle is one of the acoustic dummer's secret weapons, using this pattern around a drum set can give an instant groove to an otherwise very rigid beat. Now this tool is available for us to use in modular.
It plays well with other step sequencers, step randomizers, In particular I enjoy pairing it with Euclidean Circles and Branches but there are many interesting ways to patch this to spice up your sequences. Don't forget to play with the reset input to spice things up further.
