Complexor is a fully analogue, low-noise dynamics processor designed for modular systems that demand more than “compressor goes squash”.
At its core, complexor is a high-quality analogue compressor capable of everything from subtle bus control to aggressive, rhythmically pumping dynamics. What sets it apart is its advanced sidechain architecture and topology flexibility, allowing the dynamics behavior itself to become part of the performance.
The module supports multiple compressor topologies, dual-band and dynamic EQ modes, and extensive sidechain filter routing. Bands can interact, split, recombine, or feed back into the detection path, enabling frequency-dependent compression, dynamic filtering, and controlled feedback behaviours that blur the line between processing and sound generation.
With feedback paths and audio-rate possibilities, complexor can be played like an instrument: pushing into self-modulating grooves, resonant pumping, or unstable-but-controllable textures. Despite its complexity, the signal path remains entirely analogue, avoiding aliasing and other artifacts typical of digital nonlinear processing.
