1U 4 Channel Touch Strip Sequencer

Caress of Stars is fully featured, compact Eurorack sequencer in a novel, playable format. It features both tactile buttons, as well as a precise touch strip. It's a Eurorack native, with a combination of functions that fit working with continuous voltages and atonal music, x0x style gate patterns as well as traditional note events. It's perfect as a main brain for a small case, with expansion capability that will let it grow into a central control point for a large system. With an optional stand-alone enclosure CoS can also work with a case that has no 1U capability or a semi-modular synth.

Caress of Stars is a 1U, 48HP, 4-channel CV sequencer. Each channel can output gates, CV, or can be combined with its neighbour to work in tandem and control your whole voice. Each sequence can consist of up to 4 pages of 16 steps each, that is up to 64 steps total. You can either record what you play live, or use the fast and intuitive step editing mode - both designed to feel great while improvising.

The biggest distinguishing factor between Caress and other sequencers is our high precision touch strip, which, for us, feels like the most natural, quick and fun way to play out your CVs. It's especially great for note ties/glides, or when used without a clock, as a touch controller.

Of course, to serve as a main sequencer, it does also have all the features you'd expect: CV values can be quantised to scales, each channel can easily be muted, a looper feature lets you loop specific part of the sequence (again, super fun to do with touch strip!), you can set different clock divisions and sequence lengths per channel. We keep building more features and intend to do so beyond the release.
