BassDrum

The LowBlow is a drum module (Bass and Percussions) designed with an intuitive and minimalist approach for quick and easy use. This module encompasses a complete internal synthesis process and features various waveform amplitude controls with frequency alteration at different stages. Gate and Control Voltage (CV) input points that manage the module’s internal functions. It has an auxiliary output, which is a duplicate of the original signal, where both are buffered to ensure output stability.

It’s a powerful and versatile Eurorack module, specifically a bass drum synthesizer, suitable for live performances, music production, and sonic experimentation, thanks to its range of low frequencies capable of generating deep-toned percussion sounds.

It comes equipped with Control Voltage (CV), Gate, and Weird inputs. Frequency control is achieved through the Tone knob and a Cutoff (Low Pass) knob with an activation switch that can be managed via a separate CV input.

This module features an ADSR envelope to shape the sound amplitude and also includes parameters like Tuning, Tune, and Depth to modulate the Tone’s frequency.

Module Features.

Tone frequency range from 15 Hz to 250 Hz.
Low-pass filter with CutOff control and activation switch.
ADSR for adjusting the temporal evolution of sound amplitude.
Frequency modulation through the Tuning, Tune, and Depth parameters.
Signal distortion to expand sonic possibilities.
Control Voltage (CV) for Tone and CutOff.
Gate for external triggers.
Manual Gate for manual activation.
Weird input to modify the Tone through non-conventional parameters.
