The MagControl is a VCA (Voltage-Controlled Amplitude) module with an intuitive and minimalist design for quick and easy use. It’s a quad VCA, where each channel has a voice signal input, a Voltage Control (CV) or envelope (ADSR) input, and a Mag output to extract the processed signal.
It’s a versatile Eurorack module that controls the amplitude of the voice signal based on the waveform of the Voltage Control (CV), making it suitable for live performances, music production, and sonic experimentation.
It allows the sound to have a varied dynamic profile or timbral subtleties that evolve over time, providing different nuances from note articulation to modulation management. While it can act as a volume control for a sound, it truly goes beyond that. The MagControl serves as the final dynamic control of the synthesizer’s voice amplitude.
Module Features.
Four independent channels.
Each channel has a voice input and a Voltage Control (CV) signal.
Each channel has its modulated output labeled as Mag.
Each output is buffered for signal stability.
