20HP module that adds two columns of control voltages to the Behringer 1027 sequencer.
In 1970 ARP planned to make an expansion module for the 1027 sequencer but it never made it into production or prototype stage. The fall in modular sales during the mid 1970's caused ARP to scrap a number of new module ideas.
The AMSynths AM1026 fills in a piece of history by recreating the Preset Voltages module, with incredible flexibility. It is an easy to understand and use module; just plug it into the B1027 with the included 12-way cable, switch SEQR mode on using the red momentary button, and enjoy another two columns of 8-step CV's!
The AM1026 can be placed next to the B1027 or close to the module it is controlling, reducing patch cable lengths. Multiple AM102x modules can be connected to one long ribbon cable, thanks to the CMOS buffering chips and diode protection in the modules.
Alternatively the AM1026 can be used as a stand alone set of 16x preset voltages. Switch the sequencer control off by using the red momentary button SEQR, then either manually select a step using the green momentary buttons MANUAL SET or use an external Eurorack gate signal patched into the step SETTING GATE.
Only one step can be active when using the MANUAL SET buttons and the green momentary button CLEAR, sets all the steps to non-active. Any combination of steps can be active when using the MANUAL SET jack inputs, therefore its possible to overload the CV outputs when step pots are at mid-maximum values and multiple steps are set on.
High quality Alpha potentiometers and Rogan ARP 2500 style knobs have been used to ensure control voltages can be easily set and adjusted. The 2V output is designed to drive VCO's and increases the resolution of the control pots.
CONNECTIONS There are ten 3.5 mm jack sockets on the anodised aluminium front panel and one rear connector:
* OUT A - channel A output
* OUT B - channel B output
* MANUAL SETTING GATES 1-8 - set the step active
Rear Input - 12-way IDC shrouded socket
There are eight green LED's in the MANUAL SET buttons that indicate the active step and two slide switches for setting the range of each channel (0 to +2V or 0 to +10V).
A momentary switch with a white button provides the CLEAR function, and a momentary red LED switch enables/disables the external sequencer control (SEQR).
The module comes with a set of M3 mounting screws and washers, a 30cm 12-way cable for patching into a Behringer 1027, and a standard 16-way Doepfer power cable.

These merchants probably sell this module. Huh?
