stereo guitar pedal interface

STOMPY is a stereo guitar pedal interface. There are a lot of pedals lying around in corners of studios; from very simple cheapos to the most complex you can think of. Wouldn’t it be great to use them in your system too..?

As you maybe experienced the eurorack modular world and the guitar world are not the best friends in signal processing - that is why we designed the STOMPY. Nothing complex, but as in our BEAR philosophy: a simple and efficient SEND & RETURN module. Of course the right input is normalized to the left, so you can also use mono signals with your stereo pedals.

The question rises up why didn’t we use the big jacks instead of the regular modular mini jacks? We wanted to keep the modules as small as possible. Real estate in your case is expensive and there enough solutions around from adapters to cables with different jacks.

How does STOMPY work? The top jacks are the input for your modular signal. Pedals can respond differently on how the incoming signal is, so next up is the attenuator for the send. Following are the outs where you connect the pedal, and then the return inputs. The next knob will set the level of the incoming pedal signal and the bottom jacks are the outputs on modular level.

Few extra ideas:
- you can also use the bottom half of the module to bring your outboard synths to eurorack level.
- Instead of a stereo pedal, you can also use two mono pedals.
- Building on that, with a mono modular signal you can parallel process it with two mono pedals.
