nano Versatile Dual I/O

This compact interface was created as an alternative to µMIO because on multiple occasions customers did not need the USB and/or MIDI port when interfacing to modules other than the Intellijel MIDI 1U system, such as the Expert Sleepers Disting.

No soldering is required as the interface connects to the target module via jumper cables sold separately.

The connectors used are suitable for mono signals with normalization, or stereo, and MIDI TRS by extension.

In case you're bothered with the small arrows that don't match your use, like 2 inputs or 2 outputs, the front panel can simply be flipped as the other face has no markings for the jacks.

Connections are identified by T (Tip), N (Normalization), R (Ring), S (Sleeve) for each connector. The connectors do not share any signals, so a ground connection may be required to both sleeves for audio, CV, or gate signals.

This may also be a simple way to convert from MIDI TRS-A to TRS-B (or vice versa!) by connecting sockets to each other while swapping the T and R signals.

Jumper cables are sold in various lengths in packs of 6 with 2 white, red and black.
