S-040 Divider/n-th pulse

Clock Divider

S-040 Divider/n-th pulse module for eurorack / Doepfer A100 system.

From the top down:
Clock input jack + LED
Reset inpout jack + LED
Display + encoder
Ch.1 output + LED
Ch.2 output + LED

This module divides input pulses (clocks, triggers, gates, regular or non-regular) passing n-th pulse to output. There are two output channels with different setting. The loop setting and trigger length is common for both channels. What you see on the display is memorized as one memory (number/letter in bottom line).

The settings on the display are:
Ch.1 division rate (1-99 big digits or 1-9999 small digits, according to selected memory)
Ch.2 division rate (1-99 big digits or 1-9999 small digits)
Counter (counts input pulses, can be cleared by pushing encoder when cursor is here, 1-99 or 1-9999)
Loop length (1-99 or 1-9999)
Loop end (what will happen at the end of the loop, options are RESET, CONTINUE or STOP)
Initial rest (0-99 or 0-9999, counts number of input pulses set, then starts regular dividing/loop)
Ouput trigger length (1-10ms or =IN – the same as input legth)
Memory number (2A-2J or 4A-4J, memories starting with “2” are two-digits 1-99, memories starting with “4” are four-digits 1-9999)

Initial rest with stop at the end of the loop allows to generate one single pulse after quite long time. Initial rest part is counted after reset, either external or loop resetting. This allows you regular division on say every third pulse of four (init rest=2, division=4, then 3th, 7th, 11th pulse passes to out). Loop-end setting “Reset” resets loop and starts counting from zero. If “continue” is set dividing sequence goes to infinity (counter counts up to limit and starts counting again form zero). The stop option stops the sequence until external reset.

Width: 4TE/ 4HP/ 20mm.
Depth: 46mm /1,8″ max.
Current: 25mA max.
Power cable included.

Double check power connection before powering your system please.
„Red strip“ means -12V connector side in Eurorack standards.
In some power distribution systems connector key can be reverted.
In this case cut connector key and plug power connector right way (with respect to red strip) or use different power cable appropriate to your power system.
