16/32-Step Trigger Seqencer
S-161 Trig sequencer module for Eurorack / Doepfer A100 system.
Quite self-explanatory trigger sequencer, some hints about concept:
- top button above display – short push switches between pattern (P) and chain (CH) display, long press goes to setting menu
- pattern can be 2-16 step long in 16-step mode or 2-32 step long in 32-step mode (last parameter in menu – mode 16/32)
- patterns can be chained (by their numbers) on chain display
- in pattern – turn knob while pressed to draw or delete more steps in row
- chain is always played forward and can be repeated or stopped (one-shot play, then needs the reset to play again), “dot” is empty pattern
- “clk display” and “cursor display” parameters in menu are times is seconds, clock/cursor mark dissapears after this time to display clear pattern if there is no movement
- preloaded patterns are organized like “BD, SD, HH, perc” so patterns 1 and 5 are basic 8-beat BD, 9 and 13 16-beat BD
- there are 16 patterns and they can be chained to 16 different chains, so max. sequence length before repeat is 512 steps (32step in pattern * 16patterns in one chain)
