uS+H - 1u sample-and-hold tile

Sample-and-hold in a 1U-friendly format? Yes indeed.
If you want all-singing, all-dancing functionality then you're in the wrong place; after all there's only so much you can cram onto a board that's about an inch square.
It took a couple of attempts to get the design right but it finally came good - a sample-and-hold tile built around the LF398 sample-and-hold amplifier, with a 10nF film capacitor to ensure that held voltages stay held (within reason - the capacitor is low-leakage but you will experience voltage droop over extreme hold lengths)
For the classic 'stepped' S+H effect you need to use as short a trigger as you can get away with (< 20ms) although you can use a square wave if you like, just be aware that that the voltage is sampled as long as the trigger voltage is high.
Supplied with a translucent grey, laser-cut and engraved panel made from 3mm perspex - a couple of M3x10 machine screws are supplied for mounting. If you use M2.5 or 4-40 then you'll need to supply your own mounting hardware.
A 3-pin Futaba power tail is supplied as standard (+12V=red, -12V=white, GND=black)
