Buffered Attenuator

Quad active attenuator for Eurorack systems

This is not the most commonly found attenuator due to its buffered channels. We had a request to design this active attenuator for a customer who had a specific need to interface various modules. It is here if you need it and it really is a quick and easy build despite having surface mount parts including a 14 pin SOIC package. So if you are new to surface mount, it is a great way to get started.

• 4 independent buffered channels;
• Use what you have! We recommend 10k audio pots and 100R resistors, but you can get by with selections from your parts bin;
• SMD parts to save your parts cost;
• Through hole electrolytic capacitors;
• Use TL034 to improve precision and reduce power or use TL074 to reduce costs further;
• 6HP Eurorack with our panel.
