Advanced sequencer, modulator and VCO.
The Lizard2 mk3 is composed of 2 operational blocks: the WaveDrawer (which outputs to OUT1) and the WaveSwitcher (which outputs to OUT2).
The WaveSwitcher is an analog audio switcher with 8 inputs that works in sync with the Wave Drawer. In other words, the WaveDrawer stage controls which of the 8 inputs will be forwarded to OUT 2.
The WaveDrawer can work in 3 main modes which can be selected using the 3-stage switch: Sequencer, External Clock and VCO. Each of these modes contain sub modes and variations which can be set using the Mode and Var buttons.
In VCO mode, OUT1 outputs a bipolar signal while in Sequencer and External Clock mode, OUT1 outputs a unipolar signal.
The first 2 sub modes are available in all 3 modes (VCO, Seq and Ext Clk):
Mode 1 - WaveDrawer sub-mode:
In this mode, each of the 8 knobs control the voltage level of the corresponding step. In sequencer mode, this will effectively make the Lizard behave as a regular sequencer. In VCO mode, this allows the user to draw the waveform of the oscillator using the 8 knobs.
The VAR button can be used to select the direction of the sequencer: Up, Down, Up+Down and Random.
Mode 2 - LFODrawer sub-mode:
This mode work similarly to Mode 1 however, instead of outputing a fixed voltage, each stage outputs a triangular LFO. The frequency of each of these LFOs can be set using the 8 knobs.
The remaining sub-modes are only available in VCO mode:
Mode 3 - SuperWave sub-mode:
In this sub-mode, the Lizard outputs 5 parallel waves to OUT 1.
The frequency of the first wave is determined by the Freq and Fine knobs. The other 4 waves can be linearly detuned using knobs 1-4 and mixed to the output using knobs 5-8. These 5 waveforms are mixed using a constant power method to ensure that the total gain of the module is never affected, regardless of the number of waves being used.
The VAR button in SuperWave selects between 4 different waveforms for these 5 waves: Saw, Triangle, Square and SAT. SAT is a unique waveform that is rich in harmonics.
Mode 4 - PhasedSaw sub-mode:
Mode 4 generates up to 5 sawtooth waves and the phase of each of the additional waves can be controlled using knobs 1-4.
The VAR button can be used to select the number of additional waves that will be generated (main + 1, + 2, + 3 or + 4).
This sub-mode can also generate agressive and unique sounds.
Mode 5 - Wave HD sub-mode:
This sub-mode generates 4 simple waveforms at an incredible 2MHz sample-rate. This higher sample-rate makes the Lizard2 behave and sound very close to a real analog oscillator, specially when FM'ed.
The VAR button selects the waveform: Saw, Triangle, Sine or Pulse (PW controlled by knob 1).
Additional information:
The module also includes a square output (which works as a gate output for the Sequencer mode and as a dedicated square output for the VCO mode), a HSYNC input (which works as a basic reset for the SEQ mode), 1 V/Oct input and FM.

These merchants probably sell this module. Huh?
