PulpLogic Primitive - a ring modulator based on transformers and germanium diodes.

The Primitive is an old fashioned analog ring modulator / waveshaper. It uses transformers and germanium diodes (in the shape of a ring) to multiply the two input signals. This method of mixing results in an output that is comprised of the sum and difference of the two input frequencies. This module is a Eurorack implementation of the innovative work performed by Harald Bode over half a century ago
