Quad slew limiter module for smoothing the edges of a gate effectively removing clicks
If you want to use gates for opening VCAs directly you may get a lot of clicks. This quad lag can be used to smooth the edges of a gate effectively removing such clicks.
There are four on-board trimmers to adjust slew times individually up to 10ms. There are also three jumpers which allow the signal from the previous channel’s output to be normalled to the next input (chaining channels). If all jumpers are set and a gate signal is sent to the input on ch1, the output signal lag time will be gradually increased on outputs 1,2,3 and 4. In this manner, the outputs can be used for simple checking if your VCA requires longer slew times simply by using the summed lag times out 2, 3 or 4. Removed jumpers disconnect any normalling between channels. In this case, there are four independent slew channels, each with its own trimmer for setting lag time.
