A distorting, overdriving analog amplifier.
A distorting, overdriving analog amplifier. Can be used to boost line-level or microphone signals with gentle overdrive, or to heavily distort Eurorack audio. Boost gives up to 26dB of gain, diode clipping, and active tone control to shape the flavor of the distortion.
All modules by FreeModular are open source. To make each DIY module more accesible for beginners, designer's website also includes a manual and assembly instructions, firmware source code, quick-order CSV files for components that can be uploaded to direct-order manufacturers, and faceplate/PCB files that can be uploaded to on-demand PCB manufacturers. Some modules are also available as kits or assembled modules through designer's Etsy.
