Moog style LFO

One thing missing from Moog Modular systems is an LFO. Moog expected users to use the 901 (and later the 921) VCOs for LFO duties. However, Keith Emerson’s custom Moog system did include three simple triangle/square LFOs, which is the inspiration for this module.

Expanded functionality to include voltage control, and an in-built VCA, using documented 1970’s “Moog Technology”.

  • Outputs:
    o Triangle: ± 3V
    o Square: ± 4V
  • Typical Frequency ranges:
    o Low range: 0.06 to 2.5 Hz
    o High range 0.2 to 17Hz
o Use of the CV inputs will extend these up to approx 35Hz
  • CV response (linear):
    o High Range: 3.2 Hz/Volt
    o Low range: 0.6 Hz/Volt

As in the original, the panel represents a “converted” 902 VCA panel, complete with “dymo” style labelling.
