Passive mixers have a bad reputation… They’re not perfect: there’s signal loss, bleed – both. Well, this is exactly why we like them! As an attenuator, the knobs are linear – which some people say is better for CV than audio, but its all about individual preference. As a mixer, the knobs are more logarithmic.
