Astrax is a versatile, fully analog module built around two complementary sections.
The scanner features four input channels, enabling smooth transitions between multiple audio or control voltage sources and combining them into a single output.
The pan section works in reverse: it distributes a single input across up to four separate outputs, providing precise control over spatial routing and signal placement. It can operate as a conventional stereo panner or as a quadraphonic panner. In quadraphonic mode, the signal is mapped across four outputs to create controlled movement in the horizontal field, positioning sounds between front, back, left, and right.
This makes Astrax especially well suited for immersive and multichannel sound environments.
