Multi CV & Gate Sequencer
4 channel analogue sequencer designed to be immediate, experimental, playable and fun!
The idea was to produce something with a simple clean layout that looks quite basic on the outside but can quickly and easily produce complex evolving patterns.
The sequencer features two banks of 8 voltage sliders (plus step On-Off-Slide toggle switches), which are referenced by two 8 step sequencers each.
Each sequencer features Loop Start and Loop End controls, plus Direction switches.
8 x CV outputs and 6 Gate outputs provide the main connections to the outside world.
Each sequencer can also be clocked individually using the Ref. Inputs or there is an onboard analogue oscillator that drives all sequencers together.
The Reference (clock) signal is +-5V down ramp sawtooth that not only clocks the sequencers but also provides the slope to control the per step Slide effect.
The Start, Stop and Step controls plus CV inputs and outputs for the internal clock allow the sequencer to connect to other sequencers and act as either master or follower.
The sequencers can also function as complex envelope generators or LFOs.
There is a Sequencer Expander module which is highly recommended that extends the functionality of the sequencer to give access to all the possible features.
MAIN FEATURES:
· 2 BANKS OF 8 VOLTAGE SLIDERS (PLUS PER STEP ON-OFF-SLIDE SWITCHES).
· EACH BANK IS REFERENCED BY 2 INDEPENDENT 8 STEP SEQUENCERS.
· INTERNAL CLOCK SOURCE (FALLING +/-5V SAW)
· START BUTTON AND INPUT - STARTS CLOCK AND SETS ALL SEQUENCERS TO THE LOOP START POINT.
· STOP (CONTINUE) BUTTON AND INPUT - STOPS OR STARTS THE CLOCK.
· STEP BUTTON AND INPUT- ALLOWS THE CLOCK TO BE SYNCED TO AN EXTERNAL PULSE.
· VOLTAGE / GATE OUTPUTS FOR SEQ 1 TO 3 AND SEQ 2 TO 4 THAT SWITCH AT THE LOOP END PULSE FOR UP TO 16 STEP PATTERNS.
· VOLTAGE OUTPUTS FOR SEQ 1 ADDED TO 2 AND SEQ 3 ADDED TO 4.
EACH OF THE 4 SEQUENCERS FEATURE:
· LOOP START / LOOP END CONTROLS.
· FORWARD / REVERSE DIRECTION SWITCH PLUS CV INPUT.
· VOLTAGE OUT AND GATE OUT.
· EXTERNAL CLOCK/REFERENCE INPUT.
· END OF SEQUENCE PULSE OUT.
