Do your triangle, square and saw waves sound a bit boring? Getting used to the sound of these popular waveforms? The Cosmic Instruments Wave Folder might be able to help you out. The module is able to ‘fold’ your waves and make them sound a lot more interesting. Its design is based on the classic Buchla wave folders and allows for a large number of folds. The folding can be increased and decreased using both the ‘FOLD’ knob and the ‘FOLD CV’ voltage control input. For ease of use we have also included a knob that controls the amount of CV applied. And, next to that, the depth of the folds can be controlled using the ‘DEPTH’ knob. Finally, to make the folding just a bit more enjoyable, the wave folder comes with also with a stunning aluminum front panel.
