What does this do?
This is an analog filter with 8 flavors taken from the oberheim Xpander filter. These 8 flavors use both of the filter cells, so you get the full big raw sound. There is also independent Low pass, Band pass, High pass, and Notch outputs.

There are three independent analog circuits on this product: the filter, a VCA, and a sample and hold.

The audio mixer section has some unique features not found on competing products:
-subharmonic generator (taken from audio input channel 1)
-pulse doubler (taken from audio input channel 2)

There is also an internal wave folding circuit internal patched as a cv for the filter.

The famous FM flip flip circuit was also added to this version. This is from the original Asteroid Op filter released many years ago.

This filter does self resonate, and tracks 1v per octave.

The switches on the bottom are sound clipping related, and change the sound dramatically, depending on the filter type used.
The center off switch lets you change the filter capacitance on filter cell #1.

This filter is very experimental, and can sound brutal. It is very sought after, and due to large demand I re-released.

-LF398 Sample and hold based.
-0.1% CV resistor tolerance
-5% filter capacitors
-tantalum solid state power capacitors used.
-reverse power protection.
