excellent preamp, does the “bass just sounds good” thing. Loads of options from vintage tweed Bassman to the coveted black panel Bassman. Also does the showman (which had the Bassman circuit as opposed to the later silver faced Bassmans that weren’t really Bassmans) Very nice sounding pedal, sits in the mix really well in just about every setting. I used this one in the studio and various gig settings from 20,000 people to 30 people and it excelled at doing its thing in all settings, made many a sound engineer comment on how easy it was to mix. I’m selling it because I’m having a gear overhaul and looking for something a bit less vintage sounding. If I wasn’t hoping to use the sale to fund other gear I definitely be keeping it for that tone.
