One of the most aptly named pedals that I’ve ever crossed paths with. From the moment I integrated the Happiness into my signal chain, and then startlingly realized how extremely resonant this filter was, it put the biggest smile on my face. Of all the many different ways to use this filter, a number that is quite great, the most use I got out of it was as a noise generator. Remember how I said that it was extremely resonant? Pairing it with a couple delays and reverbs teleports you into the heart of a rainforest with sunlight beaming through the canopy that is loaded with flocks of digital birds. Of course there’s all manner of regular filter uses to be had, and it pairs nicely with modular synths, with It’s 1/8” jacks that support up to 12v control signals. If a filter is what you’re after, but you want more than your run of the mill wah, then this is your happy place.
