WORKING CONDITION: Very Good. This Blue Box delivers the aggressive one and two octave below fuzz it is famous for.  The pots are smooth, and the switch works flawlessly. PHYSICAL CONDITION: Good. There are some signs of use, scratches, chips and general wear. Two screws are missing from the back plate, but the metal box is built like a tank and is still in very good solid condition, and both knobs are firmly intact. We removed the deteriorating foam from inside the box. We put a small piece of foam inside to insulate it, as seen in pics.  INVENTORY #59346 BRAND: MXR MODEL: Blue Box FUNCTION: Guitar Effects Pedal PRODUCT DESCRIPTION: This listing is for a 1974 MXR Blue Box Script Logo Guitar Effects Pedal. Famous for its gritty, synth-like sub-octave and gated fuzz tones, it drops your guitar or bass signal two octaves down. It is famously used on Led Zeppelin’s "Fool In The Rain". The MXR Blue Box Octave Fuzz is a legendary, highly eccentric effects pedal that combines a harsh, gated fuzz with a sub-octave generator that drops your signal two octaves down. Originally introduced in the 1970s by MXR Innovations, it is famous for its chaotic, glitchy tracking that can sound like a "dying Nintendo" or an Atari console throwing a tantrum. SPECS: Output: Controls the overall volume of the effect. On vintage models and stock reissues, unity gain is often only achieved with this knob dimed (set to 100%). Blend: Adjusts the mix between the straight gated fuzz and the sub-octave signal. Turning it fully clockwise isolates the aggressive fuzz, while turning it counterclockwise dials in the unpredictable sub-octave. How the Blend Knob Works Counter-Clockwise Sweep: Turning the Blend control to the left increases the level of the two-octave-down synth signal and decreases the fuzz. Clockwise Sweep: Turning it to the right increases the fuzz tone and rolls back the octave-down signal. At Noon: The 12 o’clock setting offers an equal, blended mix of both the fuzz and the lower octave. ACCESSORIES INCLUDED: This item comes as seen in photos and does not include any accessories. UNPACKAGED WEIGHT: 1 lb. UNPACKAGED DIMENSIONS: 5" x 2" x 3"
