EP boosts have been a staple of rock and metal sounds since Van Halen used the Echoplex as a preamp style boost. It took me forever to actually buy one of these pedals and once I did, I realized they do something amazing to your distorted sound. The pedal does also work as a boost pedal, but I have only used it as an always on pedal. I am selling this pedal because I have replaced it with a similar pedal that has more controls but to be honest, there is nothing wrong with this pedal. I bought this particular pedal used but it came with original box and case candy and I will send it on to you. The pedal itself is in near mint condition and has not had any velcro. Other than being a bit dusty, it is basically new.
