Look up onThis is the JHS Pedals Charlie Brown overdrive pedal. It uses FETs to emulate the sound and feel of a Marshall JTM45 amplifier. It has a three-band EQ, and it's incredibly touch dynamic. Here's a rundown of the controls:DRIVE: This is the overdrive knob. Turn it counter clockwise to us the pedal as a clean boost. As you turn it clockwise, you introduce soft compression, dynamic grit, and eventually, ripping dirt.TREBLE: Turn this clockwise to boost treble frequencies. Turn it counter-clockwise to trim high-end.MIDDLE: Turn this clockwise to boost midrange frequencies. Turn it counter-clockwise to scoop the mids.BASS: Turn this clockwise to boost low-end frequencies. Turn it counter-clockwise to tighten the bass.VOLUME: This is like the master-volume knob. Once the other knobs are set where you like, you can set this to unity level with your dry signal. Or you can crank the VOLUME for a big boost, or to drive your tube amp into overdrive. This Charlie Brown is in very good condition. The electronics work perfectly. The pots, jacks and stomp-switch are all clean and quiet. You can power this with a Boss PSA-style ac/dc adapter, or with your standard 9-volt pedalboard power supply.
