This is a JHS Twin Twelve V1 overdrive pedal. It's a recreation of the classic Silvertone 1484 amplifier that was famously embraced by the likes of Jack White. With this pedal, you can get those base sounds out of any amp. Here's a rundown of the controls:DRIVE: This is the input gain of the Twin Twelve. It starts breaking up pretty early in the sweep. You can get warm, gritty overdrive. Or if you crank it, you can get blown out saggy distortion.TREBLE: Turning this counter-clockwise reduces high-end frequencies.BASS: Turning this counter-clockwise reduces low-end frequencies.VOLUME: This is the master volume of the pedal. Once the other knobs are set where you like, you can adjust this to unity gain with the rest of your rig. Or you can crank the VOLUME and get a big volume boost, or push a tube amp into its own overdrive.This Twin Twelve is in very good condition. The electronics work perfectly. The pots, jacks and stomp switch are all clean and quiet. You can power this with a Boss PSA-style ac/dc adapter, or with a standard 9-volt pedalboard power supply.
