Look up onBoss CE-2 Model Chorus Effect (1980s), made in Japan, blue enamel finish, aluminum enclosure. There are few pedals more recognizable and universally beloved by guitarists than the Boss line of effects pedals: affordable, produced en masse, and offered in a (now) classic array of bright colors. The CE-2 was Boss' second delay, after the clunkier CE-1 and the first Boss chorus to reside in the signature small Boss enclosure and able to run off either 9V batteries or a power supply. This is a "long dash, silver screw" example, dating it to the early 1980s; think of it as Johnny Marr in a box! The controls are simple but effective: two knobs to control the rate and depth of the chorus centered around a BBD (bucket brigade delay) circuit and MN3007 chip. This simple delay has over the years garnered a bit of a cult status as with several other Boss pedals made in Japan, and it's more recently been reissued by the company as the CE-2W in the Waza Craft collection.Height is 4 3/4 in. (12.1 cm.), 2 1/2 in. (6.4 cm.) width, and 2 1/8 in. (5.4 cm.) in depth at deepest point. This pedal is in full working order, all original with all the lush jangle it is known for. Some velcro is on the back black Japanese label covering the serial number. Aside from the addition of velcro, the pedal is all original and only bears a little cosmetic wear in the form of paint chips and a little grit here and there. Excellent Condition.
