This is a rare early BOSS TW-1 Touch Wah, Made in Japan, featuring the desirable Touch Wah logo and silver screw.
The TW-1 has that wonderful old-school envelope filter feel — it follows your picking dynamics naturally, giving you anything from a subtle funky quack to a deeper, vocal wah sweep. With just SENS and PEAK controls plus the DRIVE switch, it is very easy to dial in, but it has a lot of character once you start playing.
It works beautifully with clean guitar, bass, or even keys, and has the kind of warm, slightly raw response that makes vintage Japanese BOSS pedals so charming. A simple pedal, but a very expressive one.

Power note: This is a vintage ACA-spec BOSS pedal. Please use a BOSS ACA adapter or a standard 12V center-negative adapter. A regular PSA-style 9V adapter may be too low in voltage for this circuit and may not operate correctly. 9V battery operation is also available.

The Touch Wah logo and silver screw are nicely preserved.
