The Big Muff Pi is one of the most storied fuzz circuits in rock history — and among its many variants, the original Triangle version (1969–1973) is the one collectors and tone nerds covet most. Named for its triangular knob layout, it was the first production version — smoother highs, warmer bass, and a lower gain ceiling than the later Ram's Head or Russian variants, with that iconic violin-like sustain that made it the choice of Hendrix, Gilmour, and Santana.
