By shifting the filter's cutoff frequency in relation to the amplitude of the incoming signal, it produces a touch-sensitive effect where tonal changes follow the attack and decay of each note or chord. The circuit is engineered to maintain accurate tracking during fast playing while also accommodating strong input signals such as chords without instability or loss of definition. The design focuses on preserving the full frequency spectrum of the original signal, avoiding the volume peaks and dips often associated with envelope filters. Its analog circuitry emphasizes responsiveness and consistency, allowing the effect to react clearly to variations in playing intensity. This approach enables distinct behavior between lightly and heavily articulated notes, with the filter responding proportionally to input dynamics rather than applying a fixed modulation pattern. The control set is centered on shaping the envelope response and filter movement. Sensitivity determines the threshold at which the filter engages, directly influencing how easily the effect is triggered by playing dynamics. The Up Down switch reverses the direction of the filter sweep, allowing either a rising or falling frequency response, with the downward mode producing a more aggressive and inverted effect. Width adjusts the bandwidth of the filter sweep, defining how far the cutoff frequency travels across the spectrum, from subtle tonal shifts to more pronounced, wide-range filtering. Attack sets the speed at which the filter opens in response to input, enabling both fast transient tracking for rapid passages and slower response for more gradual, expressive sweeps. The  pedal's behavior is closely tied to playing technique, with control interactions allowing selective triggering of the effect based on picking strength. Lower sensitivity settings restrict the full filter sweep to more accented notes, while higher settings produce a consistent response across all notes. Adjustments to Attack further refine how quickly the filter reacts, supporting both per-note articulation in fast runs and smoother transitions in slower passages. The Width control expands or narrows the perceived depth of the effect, altering the extent of the frequency sweep without introducing additional parameters such as resonance or level controls.More than 28000 guitar effects pedals from 4800 brands:
