Dual-stage gain circuit, three-band active EQ, and a sweepable mid knob that dials anywhere from 200Hz to 5kHz — which is the part most people ignore and the reason most people think this pedal sounds bad. Back the gain off noon, use the mid sweep like you mean it, and the joke stops being funny because the tone stops being a problem. It rewards the player who bothers to learn it, and it punishes everyone who doesn't.
