Look up onA temperature compensated bias based fuzz. What an innovative and interesting circuit. The range of tones on this pedal is quite expansive. However, beware that this is not your balls to the wall, full gain circuit fuzz. While it can get you some overtones at the maximum gain settings, it's really not a spitty, harsh experimental fuzz. It's meant to have nice overtones and sounds like a nice 60s/70s psychedelic and modern indie based sound. I was using this primarily as a way to get some indie rock sounds. I am no longer playing with indie heads and this has been on the shelf for 2+ years. It needs some love and new home where it will see regular action. It's a simple 3 knob circuitVolume: Can get you anywhere from attenuated volume to full on clean boost with the gain down and impedance up. It is fully interactive with the gain and impedance. Gain: From a light overdrive which kicks in when you dig in to full on overtone wall of sound. This is a usable knob throughout its range. I really recommend finding an edge of breakup point or a little bit above and fully using your guitar's volume knob to have a dual gain stage at your fingertips. Impedance: A further refined control that acts like rolling your guitar volume down. This can get you a nice sparkly sound or really darken the fuzz. Also fully usable throughout the whole range. Turn it down to get more fuzz character, turn it up to get a bit more of a controlled overdrive sound.
