While the standard Cloven Hoof is known for its grey enclosure and red graphic, the CME Exclusive version reverses the aesthetic for a sleek, dark look while retaining the exact same high-gain, silicon-driven circuitry. SPECS: The pedal is a heavily modified, aggressive extension of EQD’s flagship, Green-Russian-Muff-style pedal, the Hoof. Silicon Signal Path: It swaps out the original Hoof’s hybrid germanium/silicon setup for four specially selected silicon transistors. This provides cleaner cleans, enhanced temperature stability, and a significantly grittier, high-gain punch. Quadruple the Gain: The gain stage features four times the sweep range of a standard Hoof.
