Roland VG99 V- Guitar SystemI purchased this in March of 2009. It has made all the sounds in a smoke free home and been treated gently. It comes with:The original box, ~200 page User Manual, CD Rom (never used), Power supply, 4 thumb screws: to mount it to a Roland compatible tripod stand (stand not included)One 13 Pin GKC cable for use with GK or similar hex pickups (GKC-5 is nominally 5 meters long, which translates to 16.4 feet or approximately 15 feet of useable cable length.)Cable (never used) for the RRC2 compatible Roland FC300 pedal board (FC300 pedal board not included)It also comes with a gray USB cable (never used) that is not in the pictures.The VG99 Roland model is/was used by Andy Summers, Vernon Reid, Adrian Belew and many other inspiring guitarists. In the video link you can see it unplugged in the corner behind the drummer at Andy Summer's studio in 2024. Testament to how capable and versatile the unit still is!To be clear, the unit for sale here was not used by any famous guitar player. (yet)It works with 13 pin hex guitar pickups (hex pickups are not included) as well as regular 1/4 inch guitar inputs.The only issue I have noticed is that the volume from the stereo 1/4 inch outputs aren't balanced. One channel is quieter, though both still work.I don't know if this is due to settings in the software that I have forgotten about or for some other reason. When playing stereo I generally routed to two separate amps and balanced stereo volume with the two amp's volume knobs. Of course this may also be handled via software settings of A/B channel volumes within individual patches on the VG 99 as well. Thought I'd call it out just in case something is up with the quieter 1/4 inch jack. I have never used the XLR sub outputs or Midi outputs or inputs.At any rate, this is sold as is and priced accordingly.
