JHS's faithful recreation of the rare "#75" — the 75th DOD pedal ever made and the basis for what would become the legendary DOD 250 Overdrive/Preamp.Josh Scott tracked down David Oreste Di Francesco's original Version 1 prototype and built this pedal around its exact internals. The result is a vintage-flavored DOD 250 with a tight, slightly grittier voicing than the later Grey Box and Yellow Box versions everyone knows.Controls: Gain, Level, and a 2-position clipping slider switch that toggles between the #75 mode and a second early prototype variation Josh discovered, giving you two distinct flavors of vintage 250-style overdrive.Use it as:- Clean boost / always-on preamp- Transparent low-gain overdrive- Stacked in front of a dirty amp for British-voiced high-gain- A sweetening effect to add bite without EQ changesMade in USA.
