Up for sale, a 1975 Fender Phaser in excellent condition and in perfect working order. Released during the peak of phase shifter popularity and only produced from 1975-77, this Fender Phaser is as straightforward an effect as they come, featuring a solitary Speed control with a large rotary “pad” (knob) large enough to be adjusted by a foot while playing. This effect delivers a strong pulse and watery “whoosh;” and the all-analog circuit is 100% original. Beyond the Speed pad, there is an internal trim pot to bias the JFETs, designed to match any rig. The original CTS pot dates to the 46th week of 1975, and the original hardwired two-prong power cord is present.This first-year Phaser is in great shape, with just a few small marks on the large, rugged black hammerite-finished enclosure. The original Speed footpad is present.
