Each pedal is hand-soldered, then sent to Japan for calibration and tuning by Ohbayashi San and his team. The ARDX20 is a two-channel analog delay offering between 36ms and 600ms of delay time, housed in a rugged red metal enclosure. It features dual footswitches — a true-bypass on/off switch and a channel switch — six knobs, an effects loop jack, and a delay time expression jack. Each channel has its own independent delay time, feedback, and level controls, letting you store two completely dialed-in sounds and switch between them live.The ARDX20 uses genuine Bucket Brigade Device (BBD) circuitry, delivering warm, organic repeats that color your sound in all the right ways. It adds tap tempo with multiple subdivisions (quarter, eighth, dotted eighth), built-in modulation with adjustable speed and type, and 8 banks of programmable preset delay times — each with its own programmable modulation setting. Modulation types include smooth sine wave modulation in varying depths, as well as tape delay simulation — a random warble that mimics the natural variances of a real tape echo machine.
