Look up onExcellent/Like New Condition; everything works as it should with no issues; includes original box and paperwork; the pedal looks and functions as brand newThis made in October 2003 pedal was purchased brand new pre-modded in 2004 from Diokay.com. The overall mod title it has is the "Ultimate FAT Mod" which includes a lot of mods and add-ons too; 85% of the components (over 30 parts) have been changed and/or upgraded; there's a 3-Way clipping switch located where the original LED location is at; the pedal on/off LED indicator is now located on the top of the pedal and it's green when the pedal is engaged; there's a FAT (Fat Ass Tone) knob on the side that accesses the circuit which adjusts the mids of the pedal and sweeps from the original DS-1 sound to that sound with more mids; there's also a Boost circuit which is accessed by using the DPDT switch on top of the pedal; when the Boost circuit is turned on there's a red LED indicator next to the switch; the Boost circuit also has a trim pot inside the pedal that can be adjusted to increase or decrease the amount of Boost; Diokay.com is now defunct but it can be found at archive dot org and I've included links below to the description and also a sound clip link***Shipping is to US only, no international shippingDescription - Link to FAT mod description:Go to archive dot org and select the snapshot from 9/24/2004; then click on "U FAT Distortion" pic (Reverb does not allow direct links, I tried)"BOSS Ultimate 'FAT' DS-1 is another serious mod we are into after designing that great ultimate mod. I really wanted to show you what I was talking about. A unique-innovative mod, sound-wise as always, I'll let you judge. But all started by saying "It's crazy as it looks". This thing is occupied with a stomp switch with 2 LEDs indicators, clipping mode switch, a trimpot for boost level adjustment, another pot for adding fat and much more. What does the FAT Pot really do? You can adjust the thin/fatness of the sound, starting from the taste of the original DS-1 all the way up to more than the Ultimate mod, as if was a tone 'time machine!'."Link to Ultimate mod description:Go to archive dot org and select the snapshot from 9/24/2004; then click on "U FAT Distortion" pic; then click where it says "Ultimate Mod here" in the middle of the page (Reverb does not allow direct links, I tried)"BOSS Ultimate DS-1 is a the most serious mod we are into. Here we show you what we talk about. We don't talk nonsense, we talk unique-innovative mod, sound-wise I'll let you judge. But all started by saying "It's crazy as it looks". Occupied with a stomp switch with 2 LEDs indicators, Yellow for effect status and Clear Red LED for Boost. Not only that, we continue to dig to find more secret to its sound, in result; This Ultimate Distortion DS-1, with more than 30 parts changed (Yes, is more than 85% alteration to the parts! and even more to Ultimate FAT mod) to assure you of getting the best sound improvement to the piece. A Trim-pot added to adjust the boost level, 3 position toggle switch to select Soft distortion-Normal distortion-and even an overdrive type of sound. Even the uniquely innovative way in placing and adding things that ones would never think of possible in a pedal such this. Just decide one for your self, we already did."Link to sound clip:Go to archive dot org and select the snapshot from 9/24/2004; then click on "U FAT Distortion" pic; then click where it says "Ultimate Mod here" in the middle of the page; then go to the bottom of the page for the sound clip link (Reverb does not allow direct links, I tried)" This clip is divided into 4 sections, where each separated by single string note (except the clean sound). Each of the section (except the clean sound) are always started with "boost on" mode (Playing lead Guitar) then followed by the normal mode (Where I'd play rhythm/cords).So the sequence like this: Clean guitar - Normal Distortion with 'boost on' position then Normal Distortion - 2x single string note - Soft Distortion 'Boost' then followed by Normal Soft Distortion - 3x single string picked - Overdrive sound 'Boost' and ended with Normal overdrive."
